Q1.1 What to do when a video does not play?
Solution
STEP 1 : Check the browser you are using
STEP 2 : Windows Explorer & Mozilla Firefox are not compatible with iPRIMED Athena.
STEP 3 : iPRIMED ATHENA works best with Google Chrome or any other browser.
STEP 4 : All the videos and audios will play perfectly fine.
Q1.2 What should I do when the video and audio get stuck?
Solution
STEP 1 : This happen due to multiple commands. Reload the page and you will be able
to view the video or audio clip. Take your cursor to the top left corner of your screen as shown
in the image and click on the Reload button.
Section 2 : MIC & SPEECH RELATED QUERIES
Q2.1 How do I set up the mic on my system?
Solution
STEP 1 : On the top right corner click the ‘Chrome menu’
STEP 2 : Click on ‘settings’
STEP 3 : Click on the ‘search tab’ and type the word ‘mic’
STEP 4 : Scroll down and search under Privacy and security > click on content settings
STEP 5 : Content setting > click on microphone
STEP 6 : Click Default > click on the button on the right to turn mic on.
STEP 7 : Once the button turns blue, the mic is on. Refresh the page and start recording
your voice
Q2.2 How do I use the mic and submit my answers?
Solution
STEP 1 : Once the mic is activated, click on the mic symbol. The red circle shows
that it is ready to record. Start speaking into the mic.
STEP 2 : Once you start recording, the words will be shown on the system.
STEP 3 : Click on the mic again to re-record your voice.
STEP 4 : Click on the submit button
Q2.3 The mic is setup but I am unable to record my voice.
Solution
STEP 1 : Check if you are using Google Chrome as the browser. Check if it is the
updated version.
STEP 2 : If it still does not work, check the function key on the keypad/keyboard
to check if the mic has been muted.
STEP 3 : Delete cookies from your history and refresh the platform and try again
Go to the Chrome menu > Click on settings > on the search tab, type “cookies”
STEP 4 : Click on Clear browsing data
STEP 5 : Click on Cookies and other site data & Cached images and files > click
on Clear data
STEP 6 : Check if the system volume is switched on. It should not be on mute.
Q2.4 What should I when the mic icon on my system is not responding?
Solution
STEP 1 : Click on the reload button and refresh the page.
STEP 2 : Check the solutions for question 2.3
Q2.5 The system is not recording the correct word
Q2.6 The words get repeated when recording my
voice.
Solution
STEP 1 : This is a Google voice recording software, occasionally it takes time to
recognize the voice of the speaker even you are speaking fluent English.
STEP 2 : It might take 2-3 tries for the software to recognize your voice.
STEP 3 : If it still does not recognize your voice in 5-6 tries, skip the question
and move forward to answer the rest of it. You can always come back to answer the question again
before submitting the quiz.
STEP 4 : As an exception, you can spell the word to get the right answer. For example:
The words “To” or “Is” at times gets recorded as “Two” or “Ease”. In cases like this you can
spell the word out.
STEP 5 : Always remember, this Section of exercises is to practice the sentences
verbally. Your aim should only be to get some good practice.
Section 3 : QUERIES RELATED SUBMITTING ANSWER KEYS
Q3.1 After submitting the answers, the correct/incorrect response answer vanishes from the screen.
Solution
STEP 1 : This happens due to the internet connect. Check your internet connection
and the speed.
STEP 2 : Then submit the answers. You will be able to view both the correct and
incorrect responses
Q3.2 How do I get to see the right answers?
Solution
STEP 1 : At the end of every quiz, you will see a summary with all the questions,
the answers you have given and the correct solution. This also shows how many attempts you have
made for each question.
Q3.3 I have chosen the correct answer, but it is showing incorrect.
Solution
STEP 1 : Read the question carefully. There are times where we ask you to choose
the word that does not fit in the blank.
Section 4 : QUERIES RELATED TO WRITTEN ANSWER KEYS
Q4.1 There can be multiple right answers. The answer I have written is also right but it is showing incorrect.
Solution
STEP 1 : Yes, there can be multiple answers. The system already supports all possible
solutions.
STEP 2 : Check for capitalization and punctuations. Make sure you leave a space
after inserting any punctuation mark. The answer will show incorrect of they are not inserted
correctly.
STEP 3 : The answer will show wrong if the sentence you have framed has change
meaning.

Q4.2 How do I get to see the right answers?
Solution
STEP 1 : At the end of every quiz, you will see a summary with all the questions,

Q4.3 When should I use capital letters?
Q4.4 Some answers show to be correct even if I capitalize
incorrectly.
Solution
STEP 1 : Capital letters are used in the following places
* At the start of the sentence or after a full stop.
* For a name of a person, town, city and country
If you are referring to yourself.
The “I” has to be capitalized.

Q5.1 The Hindi script (text) is not displaying on the screen.
Solution
STEP 1 : Use google chrome and check if you are using the updated version, If not,
update your browser. Click on the Chrome menu
STEP 2 : Click on Update Google Chrome. If you don’t see this button, you are on
the latest version.
